About PWR Industries

PWR Industries is an LLC started by a technology leader who has spent 28 years in networking, cybersecurity, Storage Area Networks, and virtual systems. That is not a list of buzzwords. It is the work. Designing networks that keep running when a link dies. Hardening the gear so the wrong person cannot wander in. Building storage and virtual platforms that the rest of the shop can actually depend on.

Most of the career has been spent on the unglamorous parts that decide whether a network is good or just lucky. Redundant paths. Clean VLAN and routing design. Change windows that do not become outages. Documentation written so the next person on call can find the answer at two in the morning. Teams that know the difference between looking busy and getting the job done.

PWR Industries exists to put that same standard into software for the network space. Apps meant for people who live in the CLI, the monitoring stack, and the change calendar. Tools that help you see the network clearly, keep configs honest, and spend less time fighting the same fire twice.

The founder never really logged off from MUDs. Long before networks and SANs, a text adventure taught him to type fast or die trying — sometimes literally, in-game. Part of what PWR builds is for that community, too.

// How we work

Design for failure

If it is not redundant, it is a single point of failure with extra steps. We design for the day a switch, a circuit, or a person is unavailable.

Write it down

A network that only lives in one engineer’s head is not a network. It is a risk. Good docs are part of the build, not a favor you do later.

Finish the work

Hire and keep people who finish things. Skill matters. So does showing up, owning the outage, and leaving the system better than you found it.

Ship production-ready

Ship work you would run in production. Pretty is optional. Clear, stable, and honest is not.
