ConfigSmith

ConfigSmith is a native macOS app from PWR Industries LLC. The current version is 1.1.1.

• Target OS switcher: Cisco IOS-XE (Catalyst 9200–9600), classic IOS (Catalyst 2960 / 3560 / 3750, 15.x) and NX-OS (Nexus 3000 / 9000, 9.3 and 10.x), with version-aware config generation for each
• Live security score built on 91 rules, showing which rules apply to the chosen OS and the exact fix commands for each failure
• Catalyst 3650/3850 support, with release-aware configs for IOS-XE 3.x, 16.x and 17.x
• Toggles with built-in help
• SNMPv3 with every auth/priv option scored
• DoD banner preset
• TACACS+ and SFTP archive
• Import, score and live-edit existing configs
• Site profiles with Keychain secrets
• Secrets stay hidden in previews and exports
• Fully offline, no telemetry

Version 1.1.1, signed and notarized with Developer ID. Requires macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. No download yet: coming soon.
